Why would I need a google play card to accept payment on PayPal?

Post by JackMarsh007 »

I sold an item to a person Worth $270. That person made the payment and I got an email saying they needed to add $100 in order to expand my account limit and requires me to buy 2 $50 google play gift cards. Now is this a scam or what. Never heard of such sort of an arrangement with PayPal. As far as my experience with PayPal is concerned, PayPal does not work like this, damn sure! What do you guys have to say?

Hi JackMarsh007,

This seems like a scam, anything to do with your privacy (In this case your account limit) can only be changed within Paypal. You do not need a google play card to do so. Don't believe in this or share your google play card details or any information with this person.
