Exceeded instrument sharing limit

I tried to link a card to my PayPal account, but it said that I have exceeded Instrument Sharing limit, what does this mean?

I looked everywhere but can't seem to find an answer for this! Does anyone know what this is?

This error means that the card is already existing on another account and cannot be added to another unless it is removed from the other account.
If you'd like to locate the account, you can call Paypal's customer support by clicking on "Contact" on the PayPal website or @AskPayPal on Twitter, or the PayPal Facebook page.
